Launching Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Management Online
We are pleased to announce the launch of our Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Management delivered online to students outside New Zealand. Delivery will begin at our March 2021 intake. This qualification is offered as a pathway to our Master of Applied Management (Level 9).
International students can study this programme online from outside of New Zealand with no visa required. After successful completion of this qualification, students can choose to go on to study the remaining year of the Master of Applied Management in New Zealand, with full credit transfer from the Postgraduate Certificate. This is subject to border restrictions and Immigration New Zealand guidance.
POSTGRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN APPLIED MANAGEMENT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) in a related discipline, OR a combination of academic qualifications and relevant skills and knowledge acquired through work or professional experience that is deemed equivalent to the above.
- IELTS overall band score (academic) of 6.5, with no band score less than 6.0, or equivalent (If a student needs to improve their English Language skills, we also offer NZCEL Level 5 online).
DELIVERY:
- Online – through our learning management system.
- Four papers (60 credits) to be completed in two-three study blocks.
- Classes will be conducted on Saturdays and Sundays – 4:00PM to 8:00PM (NZ time). Subject to minimum class sizes.

- Students will gain an internationally recognised New Zealand Postgraduate qualification.
- No visa required.
- By studying online, students save on insurance, travel, and living costs.
- Covid-19 scholarships are currently available. They may no longer be available when the border opens. However, students who are on this pathway programme and have already started will be able to get the scholarships.
- Students will collaborate and interact with peers online, and develop their digital literacy capability.
