Alternative option to IELTS for only a cost of £50. The English test run by Oxford International can be completed online from home and only takes 2-3days. The Online English Language Level Test is made up of three elements:
The first part of the assessment is the online test. This will give us an initial assessment of your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. The results from this test are submitted to the Admissions Team, who will guide you onto the second stage of the assessment. The second part of the test is a writing task. The task is assigned to the student by email and must be returned to the Admissions Team within a certain time limit. The task is then assessed by the assigned language teacher. The final part of the assessment is a formal, oral test that is conducted over video chat with your assigned language teacher. The assessment contains references to previous tasks to act as a check against identity and completion of task. How will it be scored? Student will need an overall source of B2+ with a minimum B2 in each skill (just like IELTS minimum 5.5. in each skill). After taking the test? Students will be sent the results via email with a certificate. Their offer will be automatically updated by our admissions team. If they do not achieve a minimum of B2+ they can re-sit the test (as there is no limit) or the option to take an online 6 week pre-sessional programme. |
