Update from Immigration New Zealand

There has been an update on the Immigration New Zealand website regarding the extension of the suspension of visa applications until May 2021.

INZ will not be processing visas for international students who are offshore until there is a decision on border restrictions being eased, saving them the process of submitting an application when they cannot travel in the immediate future.

For this reason, we regret to inform you that it will not be possible for students to enroll at PIHMS for the April 2021 intake.

We will accordingly issue deferred offer letters for our next intake, which begins on 12th July 2021.

New Zealand is free from Covid, and the domestic situation is completely normal.

Hence, the government is taking precautions so that they do not face the possibility of another lockdown, like many nations across the globe.

With the release of the vaccine, we hope that the situation will improve and that students are able to travel as soon as possible.

2021 is around the corner, and we fervently hope that it brings with it hope, health and above all, normalcy in our day-to-day lives.
