An MBA graduate from Cardiff University, UK, his career as a Country Manager for prestigious institutions such as the University of Chester, Anglia Ruskin University, and LSC Group of Colleges gives him a holistic view of the industry.

Chetan’s former advisory stints with the British High Commission, the High Commission of Canada, and Education New Zealand further polished his insight, equipping him with global education dynamics.

Under Chetan’s leadership, Study Smart has grown its team from 3 to 60+ members, highlighting his focus on nurturing a solid organisational leadership culture.

Beyond his professional life, Chetan is deeply involved in philanthropy, leading initiatives with JITO and Round Table India focused on education for the underprivileged and community service projects. He is also passionate about maintaining a healthy lifestyle, which includes being active in fitness, travelling, and engaging in adventure sports. He is also a certified Level 1 Scuba Diver and Paraglider, and he enjoys the energy and excitement of live music concerts and festivals.

Chetan finds inspiration in the achievements of business leaders like Steve Jobs, Ratan Tata, and Elon Musk and follows the teachings of business coaches Robin Sharma and Rajiv Talreja. He lives by the mantra “Stay hungry, stay foolish,” a reminder to seek growth and learning perpetually.

Lavina Jain, Co-Founder of Study Smart, has been with the company since day one, marking a 14-year journey of growth and success. She began by managing operations for IELTS and Study Abroad and then took on the role of leading the HR department. Lavina led the Delhi office for three years before moving to manage the Pune office.

Her background is multifaceted, with over 10 years of experience across different sectors, including a stint as a Manager at a BPO and a Quality and Business Development Manager for an IT-based Lead Generation company, working with big names like Dell, Cisco, and Google.

On a personal note, Lavina, a proud mother of two, finds her happiest moments with her family. She’s also keen on staying fit and loves to travel and explore new places whenever possible. Lavina believes in facing challenges head-on, reminding herself, “Don’t worry, you’ve got this” to push through tough times. She values starting the day with a plan, knowing a good beginning is half the battle won.

Lavina’s passion lies in shaping futures. The joy of seeing students succeed, whether in their careers or personal lives abroad, motivates her every day. Her focus at Study Smart is on guiding students to bright futures, which she finds rewarding and inspiring.

Devendra Marathe leads marketing at Study Smart. His strategic vision and leadership have taken the brand to new heights. With over thirteen years of experience in the education sector, his work has earned him awards like the Leadership Excellence Award and the Pillars of Study Smart Award. His background, enriched by an MBA degree, drives his innovative approach. He keeps his finger on the pulse of new trends, turning every challenge into a springboard for innovation. Devendra is also the catalyst behind our digital foray. From devising creative tactics to reach more aspirants to making Study Smart’s presence more approachable, he handles it all without breaking a sweat.

When he’s not busy making waves at work, Devendra enjoys activities that feed his soul and expand his horizons, keeping him energised and ready for whatever comes next.

Zoheb Sayyed is the Operational Manager at Study Smart, where he spins many plates, overseeing counselling, marketing, and administration and ensuring the IT systems don’t go on a holiday. He has also dipped his toes into Dubai’s dynamic education sector. This stint has equipped him with insider tips, practical insights, and hidden city gems to explore that he’s always excited to share with students dreaming of global adventures.

He holds an MBA in Marketing and has over a decade of experience. Zoheb’s a regular on the seminar circuit, passionate about opening the world to students through study abroad opportunities. When he’s off duty, you’ll find him reading history books or sharing his zeal for global education adventures.

Living by Winston Churchill’s words, “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts,” Zoheb sees every setback as a setup for a comeback. He’s the go-to guy for making sure students don’t just enrol but enjoy their journey with Study Smart.

Vinisha Sunil Chavan is our Study Abroad department’s team lead, bringing 14 years of experience with a special focus on helping students map out their journey to studying overseas. Talk about steadily climbing the rungs of the corporate ladder, and Vinisha is a walking illustration of it. She joined Study Smart as a Junior Counsellor, learning the ropes of the trade and quietly notching milestones over the last 5 years. Her expertise guides students to the right courses and universities in the UK, USA, and Canada. Recognised for her dedication, she’s bagged the ‘Employee of the Year’ award twice and was a ‘Champion of the Month’ for 11 straight months.

Beyond her professional life, Vinisha enjoys reading about new countries, counselling methods, baking, and playing badminton and Settlers, always eager to learn and share knowledge.

Leena Mohile, Destination Head for the US Deprtment at Study Smart, brings over 14 years of dedicated expertise in international education. With a strong foundation in guiding students towards higher education in the USA, Canada, and New Zealand, Leena is renowned for her personalized counseling that navigates the complexities of studying abroad—from selecting the right course and institution to securing visas successfully.

Her career highlights include placing over 1200 students in the US alone and earning recognition through Best Performance Awards. Leena's leadership extends to developing strategic business plans, training high-performing teams, and fostering strong global relationships with educational institutes.

Beyond her professional achievements, Leena is committed to community service, actively contributing to educational volunteer work aimed at enhancing computer literacy and educational programs for underprivileged children. Her career is driven by a passion for empowering students and a commitment to excellence in the educational sector. Leena Mohile welcomes connections with professionals, students, parents, and organizations dedicated to educational excellence, believing in the principle of "what goes around, comes around" as a guiding philosophy.

Bringing a mix of retail, sales, and customer service experience, Dipti Mohite is the driving force behind the admin operations at Study Smart. With 13 years of handling organisational challenges, she knows a thing or two about keeping things running smoothly and ensuring everyone gets the stellar service they deserve!

Dipti’s knack for turning problems into solutions and her dedication to making every day a bit better than the last has made her an essential part of the Study Smart family. When she’s not juggling tasks with a smile, she loves to stay on the move and soak in new ideas when not in the office.

Nishant Jain oversees our Delhi IELTS training centre and spearheads our study-abroad efforts in the North region of India. Having called New Zealand home for seven years, wandered the UK, and travelled across Europe, Nishant brings a suitcase full of personal and professional insights. He holds a postgraduate diploma in events communication from Unitec College NZ and an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University, lending him the creds and the real-world know-how to give students an insightful glimpse into life abroad.

Nishant values learning through online courses or playing basketball, always aiming to empower students with real-life experiences of studying and living abroad.

Shreyas Mahajan is the brains behind the Nashik office of Study Smart, looking after everything from IELTS training to helping students find their perfect study abroad program. Much of his experience comes from living as a student in the UK. From a novice to a brand management pro, Shreyas’s evolution has gained him the smarts and skills he’s eager to impart. With degrees from Brunel University, London and MIT WPU, Pune, plus a PGDM from NMIMS, he’s as knowledgeable as they come.

But it’s not all work and no play for Shreyas. He has a penchant for spirituality, business, innovation, UFC, and football. He lives by the mantra that the real magic happens when you plunge headlong into the work you’ve been avoiding. Shreyas’s approach to guiding students is about keeping it real and honest, sharing the advice you can only get from someone who’s lived it.
