Effective from September 1, 2025, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has announced a revised financial requirement for all international students.

📌 What’s Changed?

The minimum fund requirement has been increased by CAN $2,000.

🔹 New Requirement:

International students from India will now need to show a minimum of CAN $22,895 (approx. ₹14 lakh) for living expenses — up from the previous requirement of CAN $20,635.

This change applies to all new study permit applications submitted on or after September 1, 2025.
