Recently there have been several reports of students being interviewed by UKVI at the airport prior to departure. The UKVI team is currently present at several countries (Nigeria, Bangladesh, India, Nepal so far) with the objective of interviewing students prior to their departure from their home country. Please be advised that they have the authority to prevent students from boarding their flights if necessary:

Students may be asked:

Student PCI (Pre-CAS interview) questions
Proof of funds and source of income (Showing on bank app or cash in hand)
Other personal and probing questions to verify their eligibility.
