New Scholarships at La Trobe University

We are pleased to share important 2026 scholarship updates from La Trobe University, which is positioning itself as an AI first university with major investments in AI, data and digital health across teaching, research and student experience.

New 30% La Trobe Scholarships

La Trobe has introduced three new 30% tuition fee scholarships for high‑achieving international students in future‑focused disciplines.

  1. La Trobe Artificial Intelligence Scholarship – 30%
    • For students in AI‑related courses.
    • Offers an upfront 30% tuition fee reduction for selected AI programs.
    • Ideal for students targeting careers in artificial intelligence and intelligent systems.
  2. La Trobe Analytics & Insights Scholarship – 30%
    • For students in data, analytics and related programs.
    • Provides an upfront 30% tuition fee reduction for selected courses.
    • Suited to students aiming for roles in data analytics, business analytics and insights‑driven decision making.
  3. La Trobe Health Innovation Scholarship – 30%
    • Focused on La Trobe’s digital health and health innovation courses.
    • Offers an upfront 30% tuition fee reduction for selected health innovation programs.
    • Note: For Sydney campus, this scholarship will be applied from the second semester (not upfront).

These new scholarships align strongly with high‑demand career areas and are excellent options for academically strong, tech‑ and health‑focused profiles.
 

Updates to Existing Scholarships (High Achiever & Early Acceptance)
 

La Trobe has also enhanced some of its existing scholarships for 2026 and 2027 intakes.

1. La Trobe High Achiever Scholarship – Now Upfront
For eligible students, this scholarship is now available upfront for 2026 and 2027 intakes. WAM‑based scholarship bands are:

  • WAM 60–74.9%: 20% tuition fee scholarship
  • WAM 75% and above: 25% tuition fee scholarship

 
2. Early Acceptance Grant – Now Upfront with Extended Deadlines

  • Early Acceptance Grant is now also available upfront for 2026 and 2027 intakes.
  • Intake‑specific acceptance deadlines have been extended; agents should check the La Trobe website or coordinate with Kaaiser for the latest date for each intake.
  • This grant rewards students who accept their offer and pay the required deposit by the specified deadline for their intake.
