Below is important information regarding entry requirements, application deadlines, and other key details for the 2025-26 academic year at the University of Huddersfield, UK.

Entry Requirements

Agent Representation & Change Requests

To attach or change an agent, applicants must follow these steps:

• If an applicant has not worked with an agent before, they must complete the Agent Representation Request Form (attached).
• If they wish to switch agents, they must complete the Change of Agent Representation Request Form (attached).
• To initiate the change, applicants must email [email protected] with:
  • The completed form
  • A detailed reason for the change
  • Their Applicant ID
• The agent tagging/change request must be sent from the applicant’s registered email.
• The deadline for agent changes is the same as the application deadline.
• Emails from agents on behalf of applicants will not be accepted.

General Admission Criteria

• Undergraduate (UG): Minimum 65% in 12th
• Postgraduate (PG): Minimum 55% in graduation
• PG with Placement/Professional Practice: Minimum 60% in UG
  
  
  English Language Requirements                

         We accept only IELTS Academic, TOEFL (iBT), and PTE.

• To waive IELTS/TOEFL/PTE:
  • UG/PG – 65% in 12th English (CBSE & CISCE national boards, within 5 years)
  • PG with Placement/Professional Practice – 70% in 12th English (CBSE & CISCE, within 5 years)
  • Nursing & Health programs – 70% in 12th English (CBSE & CISCE, within 5 years)
    
     

Equivalency of IELTS with TOEFL & PTE:

Common Rejection Reasons

1. Business School Applications – MBA requires management-level experience (min 2 years), MSc Management is an alternative.
2. Top-Up Programs – Most Indian Diplomas do not qualify. Students must have completed 2-3 years of UG study in India.
3. Maths Requirement for Nursing – 65% in Class X Maths required.
4. Biology Requirement for Nursing BSc – 65% in Class XII Biology, with overall 65% in XII.
5. Maths Requirement for Engineering UG – 65% in Class XII Maths, with overall 65% in XII.
6. MSc International Business – Rejected for non-business background students. Consider MSc Management instead.
7. Health & Social Care Courses – Interviews & Portfolio required (Guidance attached).
8. Visa Refusals – No applications are accepted if the applicant has previous visa refusals.
9. SOP & Documents – No plagiarized SOPs or fraudulent documents allowed.
10. Safer Course Selection – If applying for MSc with Placement (requires IELTS 7.0), also apply for MSc without Placement (IELTS 6.0).
11. BSc Physiotherapy – Now requires 70% minimum in Standard 12th, with 60% in both Maths and English in Standard 10th.
    
     

Punjab, Haryana, Tamil Nadu & UP applicants – 100% first-year tuition fee deposit (minus scholarship) is required for CAS.
