About Aston University:

Aston University, a Public Research University in Birmingham, was established in 1895, which later evolved into the UK's first College of Advanced Technology in 1966. It officially became University of Aston in Birmingham on receiving its Royal Charter on 22nd April 1966. Aston University was recognized by Times Higher Education for the second best teaching quality in the UK in 2017. In 2018, Aston University was ranked in the top 55 universities in the UK by all major domestic and international league tables.
