About Coventry University

Coventry University is a reputed public research university located in Coventry, England,known as Lanchester Polytechnic until 1987, then it was known as Coventry Polytechnic until it was awarded university status in the year 1992. Coventry University is a modern university with a proud tradition as a provider of high quality education in the UK. Coventry is ranked number 13 in the UK in the Guardian University Guide 2019 and is the UK’s Top New University in the Complete University Guide 2018. Students at Coventry University benefit from state-of-the-art equipment and facilities in all academic disciplines including health, design and engineering laboratories, performing arts studios and computing centres.

Student Life

On campus, TheHub is the centre of student life: it is the place to gather, grab a coffee with friends, have a meal, see a band in the SU, or just hang out. In short – it’s TheHub of campus life.But there is also the University’s Sports Centre just across TheHub, and the Westwood Heath Sports facilities with grass pitches for football, hockey, rugby and cricket.There are nearly 100 clubs and societies for students to join – a great way to make new friends. Especially for international students. We realize that many of the students will need to take a part-time job while they are at Coventry University. The university itself provides help to seek part-time jobs on campus. The Students’ Union (CUSU) is the centre of student social and democratic life, with regular entertainment and social events. From world cinema screenings to themed club nights and live performances, CUSU organizes a full calendar of events throughout the academic year.

The University has a varied selection of accommodation options available for the students to choose from, including University Owned properties, Managed and Partnership properties.There are different and a variety of options are available for Undergraduate & Postgraduate students. The university accommodations are at a 5-10 minutes walking distance.
