Kingston University London (KUL) formerly known as Kingston Polytechnic, is a public research university, located within Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, in South West London. Being founded in 1899, it received its university status in 1992. Kingston University comprises of 4 campuses in Kingston and Roehampton which specializes in arts, design, fashion, science, engineering and business. Kingston University is a member of the European University Association, the Association of Commonwealth Universities and University Alliance group. It is ranked 48th in UK by The Guardian University Guide 2020 and the top 250 in the world for Business and Economics by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019.
