The Global Education Fair Pune 2026, organized by Study Smart on April 11 at Royal Connaught, Boat Club, saw a strong turnout, with 900+ students and parents visiting throughout the day. Notably, 600+ of these were unique walk-ins, reflecting strong on-ground interest.

From the moment the fair opened, there was a steady flow of students walking in. Some came with clear plans, while others were just beginning to explore their options. What stood out was how many of them were looking for one thing. Clarity.

Moving Beyond Online Confusion

Many students arrive with bits and pieces of information. Some from online research, some from friends, and some from sources that are not always complete.

What worked well at the fair was that everything came together in one place. Students could sit down, ask questions, and understand what actually applied to their profile.

For many, this shift from scattered research to real conversations made a big difference.

Conversations That Actually Helped

With 60+ universities present from countries like the UK, USA, Ireland, Germany, and Dubai, students had the opportunity to speak directly with university representatives.

These were not just basic interactions. Students were asking specific questions about their profiles, courses, scholarships, and future opportunities.

You could see them taking notes, discussing with parents, and gradually narrowing down their choices.

Seminars That Added Perspective

Alongside the interactions, the seminars and workshops helped students understand the bigger picture.

Topics like scholarships, visa processes, and planning timelines gave structure to what can otherwise feel like a confusing process. For some students, this was the first time they saw how everything connects.

Everything in One Place Made It Easier

Another noticeable pattern was how students moved between different desks. From universities to loan partners, to accommodation and forex.

Instead of figuring things out separately, they could ask questions and get clarity on multiple aspects in a single visit. That made the experience more practical and less overwhelming.

Parents Were Part of the Process

Parents were equally involved throughout the day. Their focus was often on financial planning, safety, and long-term outcomes.

Being able to speak directly with experts and partners helped them feel more assured about the decisions ahead.

A Day That Helped Students Move Forward

By the end of the day, many students walked away with more than just information.

They had a clearer sense of direction, shortlisted options, and a better understanding of what to do next.

For some, it was the starting point. For others, it helped them move closer to a decision they had been delaying.

Final Thought

What made the Global Education Fair stand out was not just the turnout, but the kind of conversations that took place.

When students have access to the right information in the right environment, decisions become easier to make.

And that is what this fair aimed to provide.
