Study Smart Conducts Personal Study Abroad Seminar at MITAOE

On 29 September 2026, Study Smart conducted a Personal Study Abroad Seminar Session at MIT Academy of Engineering (MITAOE), with 25+ students in attendance. The session was led by Hepsibha Mandhare, Counselor at Study Smart.

The seminar was designed to help students explore opportunities for higher education abroad and understand the key steps involved in planning an international education journey. Through personalized guidance and interactive discussions, students gained greater clarity on the factors they should consider when planning their study abroad goals.

From Academic Goals to Global Opportunities

The session focused on helping students understand how to approach the process of studying abroad with their academic interests, career aspirations, and individual profiles in mind.

Students were encouraged to look beyond basic university rankings when evaluating international education opportunities. Factors such as course relevance, career goals, affordability, scholarships, location, practical learning opportunities, and future career prospects can all play an important role in making the right choice.

The personalized nature of the session allowed students to discuss their individual interests and understand how different study-abroad options can align with their long-term academic and professional goals.

Understanding the Study Abroad Journey

The seminar also provided students with an overview of the various stages involved in pursuing education overseas. Discussions covered important considerations such as choosing the right course and university, understanding admission requirements, preparing application documents, exploring financial options and scholarships, and understanding student visa requirements.

Students were encouraged to approach the process with early preparation and informed decision-making, giving them sufficient time to research opportunities, organize documentation, understand eligibility criteria, and plan their applications effectively.

Turning Questions into Clarity

For students considering education abroad, the process can often raise several questions around eligibility, university selection, affordability, applications, documentation, and visa requirements.

The session provided students with an opportunity to address these considerations through direct interaction with an experienced Study Smart counselor. The discussion emphasized the importance of relying on accurate information and developing a structured plan based on each student's individual academic background and future aspirations.

Personalized Guidance for a Global Education Journey

With 25+ students participating, the session reflected the growing interest among students in exploring international education opportunities and understanding how overseas study can contribute to their future career goals.

The seminar at MITAOE reinforced the importance of personalized counselling, timely preparation, and informed decision-making when planning a study abroad journey. By helping students understand their options and the steps involved, Study Smart continues to support aspiring students in moving from initial aspirations towards a more structured global education plan.
